WEEKLY WOD OVERVIEW FOR APRIL 29TH TO MAY 5TH, 2024

Wow, where did April go, guys?! Hope y’all are having a great Sunday. Let’s see what’s going on this week.

Monday we’ll be doing “Star Trek: The Motion Picture” in the form of running, pull-ups, push-ups, and air squats. Ah, good ole bodyweight - OR you can add a vest if that’s too easy for you.

Tuesday starts with a deadlift / hang squat clean / push jerk strength piece. Then we’ll be feeling “The Wrath of Khan” when we crank out some high numbers of cals on the bike and rower.

Wednesday will keep us busy on “The Search for Spock” involving dumbbell snatches, dumbbell step back lunges, wall walks, and dubz.

Thursday’s strength piece is power snatches followed by “Captain Kirk” with a Tabata of back squats and then a bunch of abmat situps.

Friday will involve a little skill review for the ring dip before we face “The Final Frontier” with dumbbell shoulder press and ring dips. Just to make sure you worked your shoulders, we’ll do a shoulder mini pump after that! No slackin, guys!

To wrap up the week, you and a buddy will explore “The Undiscovered Country” while you’re rowing, bench pressing, rowing, rope climbing, and doing bar muscle ups. Sounds like a lot of work to me!
