The CrossFit Open begins at the end of February and there will be three workouts over the course of 3 weeks happening on Friday’s. With that said, we will see workouts geared towards building our capacity. Let’s get the week started 😁
💥Monday look forward to completing a for time style workout involving running and dumbbell push presses. Then we’ll finish off with a post-workout accessory movement with those dumbbells.
💥Tuesday we’ll start off with our snatch deload week at various percentages focussing on technique. Then we’ll transition to a for time style chipper workout containing squat snatches and ring muscle-ups.
💥Wednesday is a heavy back squat day where we will want to find a 1 rep max. Afterwards, we’ll finish off with some handstand push-up practice and renegade rows.
💥Thursday's workout involves two challenging hanging movements, knees to elbows and chest to bar pull-ups alongside a moderate volume of double-unders. Then, post workout we’ll complete some bottom up kettlebell caries.
💥Friday will start off with 3 rounds of rowing for meters, burpees and box jump-overs. Then we’ll finish off some front squats.
💥Saturday will be a repeat benchmark workout called “Linda”, we last complete June 24th 2025. This is a 10 to 1 workout featuring deadlifts, bench press and squat cleans.
