Hey! We’re going right into the second week of the Open, so let’s see what we’ve got in store! There may be some changes after the Open workout is announced, but this is what we’re going with for now.
Monday starts the week off with a snatch weightlifting piece followed by “Nobu”, a couplet of dubz and overhead squats.
Tuesday brings us to “Nash-Vegas” with Row, Dumbbell Hang Clean and Jerks, Burpee Box Jumps, and Power Cleans. Make a plan and try to stick with it for this one!
On Wednesday, we’ll start with some push press strength and then go swimming at “Joia Beach” which has some Dumbbell Bench Presses, Farmers Carry with Dumbbells, and Max Strict Pull-Ups in the Remaining Time. Focus is the pull-ups, so get after it!
Thursday has some built in handstand walking practice, followed by “The Strip”, a 20 min EMOM of handstand walk, V-ups, shuttle run, and machine of choice.
Friday will be Open 23.2! The other option will be “LIV” with a crap-ton of burpees and wall balls… choose wisely.
On Saturday, find your team of 3 to tackle “Bourbon Street” with Strict Weighted Pull-Ups, Synchro Deadlifts, Synchro Alt DB Hang Snatch, and Synchro Pull-Ups.
It’s just you against you - remember this while competing with everyone in the world during the Open - you are your most important opponent.
