Weekly WOD Overview for November 30th through December 5th, 2020

Hi. I missed you. The days are just not the same without you. Let’s just say these last two weeks don’t count. Deal? We have good news. We get to open. We’re doing it Wednesday. Wow. This will allow us time to adjust back to “normal” schedules. Monday, we will host the same virtual class times (6 am, noon, 5 pm) and on Tuesday we’ll host two only (6 am, and noon). Tuesday evening will be reserved for returning any borrowed equipment. Come by between 1 pm and 6 pm to drop off any gear you have. We’ll go into more details about reopening throughout the week. Regular classes will start Wednesday. Reserve your class spots as you normally would via Push Press. We’re excited. Here is what we have this week.Monday, It’s “Dumbbells McGhee”. This will be a 30 (yes, THIRTY) minute AMRAP of DB deadlifts, push-ups, and box (or...whatever you got) jump overs. On Tuesday, we’ve got “Round About.” About how many rounds? How about 7 rounds? 7 rounds of farmer’s carries, sit-ups, and goblet squats. Then, it’s Happy Wednesday, everybody. Who wants to throw a barbell around? We do. Wednesday we have “Jerk Snatcher.” clean & jerks and snatches. Just what the doctor ordered. On Thursday, it’s time for “Treinta.” That’s gonna be dirty thirty-second windows of ring dips, wall-ball shots, and back squats. On Friday, let’s get at it with “Anchor Down.” This’ll have KB swings, planking KB taps, KB pistols, and a nice row at the end. You can put the KB down for the row. You’re welcome. Saturday strength day, coming right up! It’s “Heave!”, and that’s going to be five sets of heavy thruster triples. That’s what we’ve got. We can't wait to see your beautiful faces again.“It’s part of life to have obstacles. It’s about overcoming obstacles; that’s the key to happiness” -- Herbie Hancock
