We just finished up with our deadlift cycle–you guys killed it on the retest! The next 2 weeks we’re taking a break from structured periodized training to just have fun with fitness, but we’ll see what’s coming with our Olympic Weightlifting Phase 2026.

💥Monday we’ll start the session off with spending 15 minutes to find our 1 rep max power clean. Then finish up with a partner metcon that is a fast, 3 round sprinty couplet of box jump overs and hang power cleans.

💥Tuesday back squats are on the menu with 4 sets of 3 at 70 to 75%. The metcon that follows we’ll see 4 rounds of Ab Mat sit-ups, wallballs and push press.

💥Wednesday is the return to gymnastics where we’ll focus on the ring muscle-up in an every 2 minute for 6 sets of running and ring muscle-up. Afterwards we’ll target the core with a Tabat ‘L’ Sit hold.

💥Thursday look for an upper body pump beginning with some bench press and overhead carries. Afterwards, we’ll finish with a descending rep scheme metcon of any machine for calories, deadlifts and push-ups.

💥Friday–HWPO’s 9/11 Memorial Day Workout “The Man in the Red Bandana”. Today we pay tribute to Wells Crowther along with the other fire fighters that gave their lives during the attacks on 9/11. This 19 minute AMRAP consists of thrusters, front rack lunges, Dubz and a plate carry.

💥Saturday–Southern NM Famlies Fighting Childhood Cancer Fundraiser
