WEEKLY WOD OVERVIEW FOR FEBRUARY 19TH TO 25TH, 2024

Hello hello! Anyone else looking forward to the Open? So are we! It’s almost here!

Let’s see what we have going this week!

Monday’s strength will be a nice bro sesh with some bench press followed by “Brandon Lake” with several AMRAPS of rowing and bar muscle ups with a little bit of built in rest.

Tuesday starts off with a power clean and push jerk EMOM strength piece, focusing on smooth touch and go cycling. After that, we will “Tear off the Roof” with 5 rounds of shuttle runs, cals on the bike, and handstand walking.

On hump day we will be working on some squat booty gains to start, taking some time to practice toes to bar skills, and then “Count Em” with a 16 min AMRAP of hang dumbbell clean and jerks, burpees over that dumbbell, and toes to bar.

Thursday’s strength piece will be deadlifts and then we’ll take a ride in the “Flight Simulator” with a lot of dubz… and they are unbroken. Good luck to your calves!

Friday will take it back to Open 15.5 with rowing and thrusters! Let’s see if you can beat your record if you’ve done this one before!

On Saturday, we will put on that “Coat of Many Colors” before we get to doing some cals on the bike, wall walks, more cals on the bike, sandbag cleans, and “recovery”  jogging.
